BOCA Group is excited to welcome Devin Stoltz and James Meiman to our 2021 Summer Internship Program. At BOCA Group, our interns are given the opportunity to gain a variety of industry-level skills and experiences across many corporate departments while receiving targeted, hands-on training related to their area of study.

Our interns will be encouraged to observe operations in the field, attend client and company meetings, develop industry-focused projects, and actively participate in many different engagements. Throughout BOCA Group’s internship program, Devin and James are collaborating with the team to learn and understand our company’s mission. Our interns will learn the fundamentals of project management, engineering and business operations while maintaining a team-centric mindset to reach success.  Our hope is that our interns leave BOCA Group with improved skill sets in operations, communication, teamwork and creative problem solving.

Devin Stoltz is excited to be back in the office after previously interning for BOCA Group in summer and winter of 2020. In the fall of 2021, Devin Stoltz will be entering his fourth year at Rutgers University as a Mechanical Engineering student. Devin’s responsibilities at BOCA Group include, but are not limited to, the creation of maintenance specifications for various jobs, reviewing AutoCAD drawings, and assisting BOCA Group’s Director of Engineering with modification surveys.

Devin is most proud of the project he had completed during his 2020 summer internship, which was developing a spreadsheet that documented specific parameters of each engineering job for efficient data-tracking purposes. Devin felt as if this particular project helped him learn about the various components of an elevator system, while becoming familiarized with Microsoft Excel.

Devin is excited about using the knowledge and work he accomplished last summer to complete and learn more advanced tasks in the upcoming months. Outside of work, Devin enjoys snowboarding, biking, and working on his car and computer. Devin describes himself as a car enthusiast, spending most of his free time maintaining his twenty-two year old car and attending car shows and races.

James Meiman will be entering his fourth year at the University of Notre Dame as a Mechanical Engineering student. James had mentioned that he is most excited to learn about BOCA Group’s project management process as well as improve his problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences in the engineering department.

Additionally, James is looking forward to building his professional network with co-workers and gain a comprehensive knowledge of the engineering industry, consulting departments, and general business operations.

In his free time, James enjoys playing and watching sports, particularly baseball, spending time with his family and friends, hiking, and mixing music.
